Fresh injury blow ahead of Gladiators match

Worcestershire Royals have just been handed another injury scare ahead of their Twenty20 Cup opener with Gloucestershire Gladiators.

Skipper Vikram Solanki has just pulled up holding his knee and immediately called for physio Ben Langley.

The pair have just headed off into the dressing room and following the earlier withdrawal of Gareth Batty (calf) and Simon Jones (virus) the start to this competition has not gone as planned for Steve Rhodes' men.
